Post by: Harvy on April 28, 2009, 09:06:24 PM
Folks, there is a Superbrace on eBay in the USA at the moment...... US$80 (not sure if this is a good deal or not, but its less than I paid for mine 3 or 4 years ago). Item number: 260400598617

??? Hey Harvey ... how does the superbrace work for you ... i have heard that it can induce a speed wobble.  what has been your experience??

Hi Dizzy........ its the best thing you can do to stiffen up the front end in my opinion.
I still have the OEM forks, but the internals have been replaced with RaceTec straight rate springs and Cartridge Emulators.
I have no speed wobble concerns.
In my opinion, the Superbrace actually binds the 2 legs together to act in unison far better then just having the rather thin OEM bridge (which remains in place).
Others on the group will chime in with their experiences I'm sure.

Marsh......its gone from eBay now.......am I able to delete the original post?

Ok Thks Harvy ... might have a look around see if i can get a hold of one ... ordered the race tech springs today.   didn't do the emulators yet ... you think that part is a good idea as well
