A while back I was having a problem with octane ping. Just as feedback, somebody astutely advised me to switch to the next colder plug (to keep combustion temperature down). Its taken me a while since I was waiting for a greater excuse to pull all the plastic off than just the plugs.
I live in Boston (ie, a cool environment at sea level) I would have thought the stock plug in the manual would have been fine, so I was a bit apprehensive.
I worked PERFECT! I think it was Marsh White that suggested it.....Thanks Dude !!!!! :yahoo:
If you live in Boston. Are you coming to the NE rally? It's a good time.

Judging from your username....do you live in Weymouth? I live out in Burlington.
Whats the 411 on this event?.....when & Where?
That would be a buzz to see a couple hundered FJ's out in a field somewhere.....

No, but I am a true Masshole, Medford. I'm sure most will agree with this.
I live in Maine, the rally is in Bethel Maine. There is info for all the rally's in the upper right corner, just click.
There are some FJ guys down your way, maybe they will spout off. (they know who they are)

The Suds located in the basement of the Bethel Inn is best. There is this other place called the Moosetail driving out to the ski area. Total pain in the ass in wintertime.Notoriously horrible service, maybe in the off season its better. I bet all the other ones up by the ski area are either closed or totally beat.
