The 2011 WCR is listed in the May issue of the Friction Zone pg 13. Friction Zone is a Motorcycle magazine that is distributed throughout the Western United States, and covers I think 7 states.

It is listed under street events and is first listing under June dates and It reads as follows:
"
June 2-5 Hayfork, CA 9th Annual West Coast Yamaha FJ RallyHeld at the Bar 717 Ranch, Star Route Box 150, Hayfork, CA 96041. Rides start at 10am Friday and Saturday. All types of bikes and rider skill levels are welcome. No cost to attend, but accommodations at the ranch are 40-60/night. WWW.Fjrally.com (http://www.fjrally.com)"
Mike, what's with all this reading of articles malarky.
Shouldn't you be frantically striping down your bike, afterall the WCR is but a month away.
Come on, the time is ripe for a new big end or something deep in the unreachable fj zones.
On second thoughts, perhaps you should wait three weeks before starting such a major project.

Do you mean the big nasty ones that can survive in a tank bag for long trips and be really mad when you let them out......?
No, that's the pine cones. The spiders are supposed to be small & angry, and very active (jumping, running about, etc.)
