i took my gas tank off my bike to clean the carbs and when i went to go put the tank back on, i moved it and saw a puddle of gas sitting under it, im pretty sure its slowwwwwwly leaking from the petcock, is this a problem? or can it be fixed easily?

so the gas tank leaked while off the bike?
a leaky petcock is a problem that needs to be fixed.
If it does not leak when on the bike then you are ok to run as you say it is a small slow leak.
Any gas leak on a motorcycle is a bad thing. Liquid fuel on a hot engine could ignite very easily. Find a replacement petcock or carry a fire extinguisher and hope for the best. If your FJ catches fire it wont be the first to burn up from a leaking petcock..

Look at this immediately. It could be REALY dangerous...
