Post by: WS on April 24, 2011, 01:07:13 AM
Hey Guys, I did it. My FJ has now 100387 miles and goes and goes.....,new rings and a head job around 75000 miles. Back to full compression and no problem with the crankcase. I just love it greetings Werner

quite a mile-stone!  My '91 currently has about 40, 000 miles on it..still goes like stink...thanks to fellows like you that have hung in there with a high mileage machine, I can look forward to many more years of riding the FJ.  All I can say is "enjoy"...I get the feeling these machines are going to outlast some of us :hi:

Werner,

Congratulations! - the sight of those nines rolling over is very satisfying. There's a picture of mine in 2003. Its now done 133k miles and still runs fine. It burns some oil and rattles a bit when cold but it has never been apart.

I'm at about 119K miles.  Never cracked the case or have done any motor work, other than a clutch change.  Does burn a little oil and also has the rattle.
