Looking to get an extended Swingarm for fj 1200.  Only place I can find is jmc Swingarm.  They are located in Britain.  Anyone ever heard or bought any thing from them?

They are a very good make of swingarm, very popular with the Streetfighter lads. Not had one myself.
What's with extending the FJ swingarm though. I think you'll lose stability for the sake of cosmetics. Is it for the dragstrip?

jmc do make a very good swingarm but it can be very hard to get it from them, even in uk let alone if you are not here, they do seem to take months and months to do things and can be slack in communication, also recently they were planning to stop making one off's and just keep a stock of popular arms.

I'm running a JMC swingarm on my '93 FJ. It's extended by 4" and has both the upper and lower bracing. I extended the rear fender to fit the extra 4" and I installed a custom shock from Stadium Suspensions http://www.stadiumsuspension.com/en/ (http://www.stadiumsuspension.com/en/).

It was originally on Jon Jarosz's Black Sunshine. He wrote a good article about the purchase and install. See http://www.fjowners.com/blacksunshine/Black_Sunshine1.html (http://www.fjowners.com/blacksunshine/Black_Sunshine1.html) and http://www.fjowners.com/blacksunshine/Black_Sunshine1.html (http://www.fjowners.com/blacksunshine/Black_Sunshine1.html).

Depending on your location, you may be better served to call a more local place that advertises extending swingarms for other bikes.  Most of them that I've heard about are usually up for the challenge of doing something other than their usual fare.

So....you've dealt with JMC too.
