G'day Megsy, keep us posted on how they fit-up. I'll be looking for a chin fairing for my '85 in a month or two, so I'm keen to see your results. Regards, Pete. :good:

No worries chaps.
Trying to make out your avitare Pete , is that an 1100 with late 1200 brakes, or R1 gear??
I have just picked up my 2nd 1100, I now have 1 very neat 1 with 47,000 km's & 1 basket case.
And I have just got a 1200 with 32,000 km's & a fair 1200 with 107,000km's.
hopefully I will make 1 x 1100 & 1 x 1200 out of the 4 worth showing, & make a street fighter custom out of the other bikes. :good2:
I love this thing in the pic below, gave me the idea!

G'day Megsy, '85 1100 with '90 Fzr1000 front end, r6 master and calipers, '90 Fzr rear wheel. Engine is 1200cc that is just about to be turned into 1220cc. Looks like your getting a good collection of early FJ's. Fj's seem to be fairly cheap on ebay at the moment, thinking about adding to my collection, too. Regards, Pete.
Hi there oldktmdude.
Very nice, :good2: how about a couple of close ups, & a run down of mods to make it all fit??
(I have seen the other posts on wheel mods, but always good to here from someone who has done it ),

I'll have to take a few up to date pics as I've added a few changes since the avatar photo. When I post the pics I'll give a brief run-down of the process. I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to using computers, so give me a few days to get photos and work out how to post them. If my wife's not busy, I'll get her to help me. (she's good at that sort of thing) Regards, Pete.
P.S How's Tamworth going? I used to go there fairly often, as my mother lived there for twelve years.
