Title: Newby to forum, fj's and Japan... i'm an ozzy though.
Post by: fb747 on December 22, 2010, 10:48:28 AM
Hey all

I'm from Melbourne Australia but have spent the last 3 years in the west oz mining industry.
I have recently relocated to Chiba City in Japan and bought myself an 89 fj1200 :nyam2: I have had dirt bikes my whole life and the fj is my first road bike.
In saying that I have ridden a number of my old man's roadies over the past few years the latest being his pride and joy triumph Bonneville 900.
I am currently teaching English in Japan and thoroughly enjoying putting the new toy through it's paces on the fine roads in my new surroundings.
I'm quite glad that i found this forum and look forward to scouring it's resources and picking all ur brains for precious information and offering anything i can in return.
I would love to get a few pics of the bike up for your visual pleasure but i'm not sure how to upload them from my PC??? is it possible or do i have to have them on the web somewhere and post a link???

I look forward to immersing myself in this wealth of knowledge and maybe getting to know some of u guys.

Cheers from Japan the home of the mighty FJ!!!!!!  :drinks:

G'day Brother..... Welcome home !   :hi:

you can do either... upload your photos into the gallery here or someplace online like photobucket and use [img] links in your posts.

Looking forward to hearing more about living in Japan. We have other brothers and sisters living all over the world and i sure do enjoy hearing about "how a place is"  and seeing pictures of "what the place looks like "

Cheers and a Merry Christmas FJ Kookaloo!

Frank
