Now that the FJ is parked for a few months, the real riding begins................. :good:

That's always looked like fun, only problem I have is, the damn ice rinks won't let me in to play.....
You need to ask nicer.
We have had races indoors but at monster truck shows. It's still alot of fun, but the boards hurt more than snow banks at speed. :dash1:

Looks like you need a visit from Team 4-stroke... :empathy2:

What is this thing you call a four stroke :scratch_one-s_head:
I'm old school (or am I just old) but I belive dirt bikes are suppose to go DING DING not THUMP THUMP :nea: Because I am old, the one with a button is starting to look better to me. :shok:
But they are hard to start when it's 20 degrees out. :dash1:

Bob, don't give-in to the four bangers just because of the start button. There are some great 2strokes on the market with these buttons. I gave-in and had a four stroke for awhile but ended up going back to the 2stroke. Much easier on my old body and heaps more fun to ride. Keep smokin, Pete. :good2:
Eh, I hear plenty of ring-dings in the woods around here, but they are all cutting firewood...

The last time I was in Indy I didn't see alot of woods, crack heads yes woods no.
I just need to make a decomp set up for my KX500s there getting harder to start while standing on ice.
Could ride my 250 easy to start but it just don't have the torque I want to feel.
Kinda the same reason I ride the FJ gobbs of torque. :yahoo:

Come join us I'm sure we can find a bike for you to ride>

There used to be lots of woods around here 'til the 2-smokes got hold of 'em. :blum1:
Actually there are lots of woods around, if you know where to look...
I have to workout this winter for some spring dirt biking... I proved on Friday that I am in no shape for falling down anymore. Very thankful for the Carhartt arctic coat I had on. I had to lay on the ice for a bit to take inventory, since there was no one else around.

2 stroke = twice as noisy, twice as fast, twice as much fun. and 1/2 the work to rebuild...... nothing like riding with a helmet full of flies..... cant wait to get my old 80 model DT's now :good2:
1/2 as noisy, compared to the ones that do ride with us.
My stock KX500 with a FMF exhaust system is probably the quietest bike out there, and my modded 500 is not far behind noise wise.

Looks fun! Reminds me of when I was 17, riding my Honda CR250 on our frozen lake. It was fun until I went through the ice in about 3 feet of water. Yup, she went down running. That's a really bad sound...:negative:
holy heck!!! did you get it back??? that would scare the bejesus out of me... but ... well... ive never seen snow or ice... lol... i just get hot and wet or mud :D and i have to say travis... man that looks like a nice corner of the world you have there. making me jealous.....cant wait to get my DT 175's.....not a patch on a kx tho.... or an IT 465. fellow down the road from me has an old 1975 DT 250.... and a Maico 500... he s selling the Maico..... :empathy2:
