I'm certain that they didn't use it in stock form after spending that kind of money :)
Part of the issue in the FJ trans is the castings being a pinch weak and allowing some deflection when the loads get high. Looks to me like they've used a custom case there, eliminating a lot of the problems.
nice bit of disagreement in the posts.... chuckles.. they make sense but... diesel torque is all down low sloggers not floggers, a diesel would be screaming its tits off at 5500 rpm i reckon.... better than the indian one that looks like a royal enfield... does 7bhp
