just a curio before i up the anti and take the tank off and get committed, but retensioning the head? is it something that needs to be tended to a irregular basis? just thinking cos it s done a fiar wack o miles and i dont think its been done, and i am a bit pushed as it is my only transport
Never heard of anyone doing it, unless they had just recently replaced the head gasket.
yeah thats what i thunked, didnt think you would have to retension them, i might give it a check anyway for the life of me i cant see where the oil leak is coming from :ireful:

If it's from the top of the engine most likely the rubber grommets under the valve cover bolts. They are stopped bolts so do not try to tighten them to stop the leak.
