hi everybody,ive been lurking for a little while,and i have to say,this is an awesome forum! i am the original owner of a 85 fj1100 that i parked around 12 years ago.but recently after seeing this websight,i got the motorcycling bug again.i had no idea there was this much enthusiasum for these great bikes.i have wanted to change and modify a few things on my bike since 1986,so you can imagine how exciting all these great tips and ideas youve all given me!! has anybody installed the spec 2 full lower fairing on their bike?any info on the piece or spec 2 would be appreciated.again thank you all for bringing my beutiful fj back into my life!

there WAS a German mob that made the full lowers, its a while ago now and the name escapes me.
There is a search you could try, umm,sprechen sie Deutsch?
G'day also......there is also a mob in France, but it seems they only make the full lowers for '91+.

thanks guys,spec 2 is a company in california and they still make a full lower for the 84/85, i was wondering if anybody has delt with them

I have a spec 2 fairing for my RZ350 ..... no idea on how their FJ stuff is... Lockhart made a full lower that was nice but they are long out of production so 2nd hand would be your only option.
I had a lockhart for my bike but after weighing all the options i preferred the renntec engine bars vs the full fairing (cant have both) the Renntec's really tighten up the frame and handling besides adding some excellent dismount protection for the engine and your ankles.
