You might be laughin' your ass off at his idea - but a guy that i used to work with would go north of Napa every year and tell land owners that he would clear their propertys of all their pinecones for free - then bag them into potatoe bags and sell them off to Macy's , Nordstrom's and Bloomingdales around Christmas time and make on average year over $25,000 for a couple of weeks work. These stores use pine cones for Xmas displays and to sell to you for decorating items - They just spray them with cinnamin oil and glitter and - "Presto" instant profit. This is no joke!
