When I was 20 years old a saw a bike I fell in love with it was the 1984 fj1100 I really wanted to get that bike but I got a baby Instead so I never got the chance to get it. I had to keep my 1978 Kawasaki kz650 , I rode that bike for another ten yrs or so until I could no longer keep it running or really wanted to, my son was into sports by then and I was into coaching and lost interest in riding altogether that is until last week when I purchased a 1986 fj1200 what a bike, love it and love riding again . Glad there is a site devoted to these marvelous machines

I had a nice superhawk, awesome motor but would wad you up in about 90 miles, no good. Then got a BMW K100 great long distance bike but boring and uninspiring. Sold it and got the FJ, thats what I was looking for. Fun, good performance, super comfy, simple and solid.
