I can't seem to find the time, or the tools, to rebuild my forks, but I DO want this done so I can get my FJ back on the road.
Can anybody recommend someone, or a shop I can send them to for the repair work, who will do a quality job? I live in BFE. The nearest 'big' town that *might* have a semi-quality shop is Reno which is almost 2 hours away.
Emulators: What are they? How do they work? Do they use any of your original parts? Do I want/need them?
I still have the stock 16" rims and brakes, and will probably stay that way too.
Thanks for any help guys. :good2:

Ok. I've just spent 15 minutes trying to find Bill in the forum, with no luck. I'm a wee tad bit, actually, I'm VERY sick right now....
Can someone point me in the right direction to contact him?

Hey Chris, Bill (the fan) is the moderator over in the Files section.....HTH Pat
Bill P is a jerk, but he rebuilds forks for $65 + parts and installs Emulators for an additional $15 +parts.
Rumor has it he gets parts 15% under retail but doesn't mind at all if you find a better price and ship the parts to him.
