took the fj and the girl and all luggage on a trip to qld for the long weeekend, went ok , got down to about 16k's per litre. not a bad run cept for the rain but hey .. the joys of motorcycling right? up to grafton from newcastle then into casino ( truck having a rest on grafton highway... stopped traffic) stayed casino ....kyogle for breakfast then up lions rd to beaudesert then in and around dipswich.... back down through boonah and the summerland way... ummm theres a rd called the Mt Lindsay ROAD... dont take it!!! is a goat track with major potholes.. and the last 15 k is dirt so ummmm..... :shok: stayed strathpine then rode new england all the way back in semi sunshine, love the ranges up through armidale :yahoo: sore bum after 4 hours in saddle the girl was happy as taking pics and vids on her ph so i am trying to get them to share. oh! and praise be to aldi gear!!!! didnt get wet. not a drop. gloves soaked through but me was allllll dry! :yahoo:
Some great roads in and around that northern new south area.. and some shockers too....
