I bought a '92 a month ago for $1000 from a kid out on a farm who had not taken good care of it.(didn't know what he had) Trailered it home as the front suspension was so bad it was not safe to ride. Had the front suspension done by a friend who is a Race Tech-tech. New front springs, revalve, oil and seals, new tires, brakes and rear rotor. Repacked the silencers, as there was no packing in these knock off slip ons. Got it all back together Saturday afternoon, short test ride and then the wife and I went for a little cruise yesterday. I really like the FJ! Stable, predictable and the new front end was great. It still needs the carbs cleaned/overhauled which I will do once the cold weather sets in. This is my 3rd FJ. '87, '93ABS and now the '92. For the $ it just can't be beat.

Good find on a great bike. You should enjoy it on those SW Missouri roads, I love 90 East out of Noel.
Hope to get into that area next week if I can make my Arkansas trip happen.
