After a several hundred mile ride, I'm wanting some additional legroom.
Anyone tried these -

or something similar - or have ideas on other options?
Used the search feature, did not find a lot, other than the Buell lowering pegs may have a problem with breaking (as well as availability now).
Oh, the one above, found at http://www.whaccessories.com/FootPegLoweringKit.htm (http://www.whaccessories.com/FootPegLoweringKit.htm)
Steve,
If you are still using the stock seat, you should look into a taller seat. I have a Corbin on my 89 and its lots taller then a stock seat. The net effect is the same, more legroom and less knee discomfort on long rides.
Thanks for the reply -
I'm running the factory option Corbin, also have a stocker that I considered tossing back on, but the "seem" to be the same height. The one advantage I see in the stock seat is it might be easier to move around on, your not locked into basically one poition.
I've considered sending the Corbin seat back to them to add a couple inches, thanks for the reminder, I'll check into costs.
Costs are important these days....

$259 plus shipping. That includes new reworked (for taller) foam, new cover (because it will have to be larger) and repair or replacement of any damaged or missing parts. At least that's what I was told when I called about 2 minutes ago. :bye2:
I also called corbin this morning about the same thing (did you call FL or CA) they told me $369.00 out the door with any mods to it, 4-6 weeks delivery.
So if it saves you a $100.00 bucks don't it make more sense to sell the one you have and buy a new one. Used they go for $150.00-$200.00
Don't sell your latches with the seat (they don't come with them new).
Also Woody's is a corbin dealer so we can get better deals than retail.

Called Florida, becuase Cali is closed on Mondays. Talked with Melissa or Melenie, or something like that. I'm not good with names, ok!
I can't imagine riding with lower pegs. I drag my stock ones all the time. I think the taller seat would be the better option.
If you're dragging pegs and have raised the rear height... man, you gotta slow down on the street...
