Title: the troller surfaces
Post by: fjkid on August 23, 2010, 08:22:25 PM
cheers :drinks:
my name is justin im from indiana!

just aquired a 1985 fj1100 in decent condition with 15,xxx hard miles
the original owner/hack that had it before really lacked on maintenence which is why i snatched it up for 1,000
it was a snap deal and someone had borrowed my truck for the weekend so i had to make a 35 mile trip back home on the fj... my butt was puckered the whole way "please don't break down, please don't..." whew home safe. GLAD to know that i have a very capable wise community that i can rely on. cheers :good2:

I haven't talked to him for a couple of weeks, but I can't see Tim missing a GP that close to home.

Yeah Baby! I've seen FJ motored hillclimbers, but that's gonna be a bitchin' FJ downhiller. Swap in some 29's and you're all set. Unless you were intending to replace the motor, in which case keep up the hard work.

 17x5.5 rear wheel and brake system from a 94 cbr900rr, a rear shock from a 2006 r1, usd forks from a 1994 kawi zx7r (lowers it quite a bit) brakes from a zx9r, and a 16x3.5 wheel from a cbr600f4i, 2006 r6 front fender, seat and tail section from a 2008 r1 (building subframe for it)
