Hey guys! Going to attend and was wondering about the food situation. Are there places to eat nearby? :morning1:
Nope, the Rallies are fully catered, bar service and bike wash too.
Plenty of food locally, but beer is best carried in.
Fully catered? Wow! Who do I pay? What is the cost? Looking forward to the roads and the rally. Thanks, Mick

Pay no attention to him, Mick...
Tellico Plains is a very small town, but it does have a few decent places to eat, and a grocery store, all nearby.
The KOA has a stovetop and grills if you are inclined to cook.
You can get beer at the gas stations, but if you are picky, you should carry in.
See you there.

i may have to ride down.
Monongahela,Pa. It,s about 20 miles south of Pittsburgh. Probably take WV250 to BRP. Haven't decided from there.Thinking about Cherehola? Parkway. Was out riding today and it felt like a fall day. I guess it will be cold in the evenings down in Tenn. in a couple of weeks. Reserved my tent site today, lady there was cool, fixed me right up.Friendly,too. Told a freind of mine I was going to an FJ rally,he laughed and asked if they held it in a phone booth haha.
Tellico is a fun place, it can be cold and it can be hot. You just never know. It was so warm last year we really didn't have a campfire.
Tell your friend, that yea we do have it in a phone booth.
Go to the KOA's website for Tellico, they have a 'postcard' taken with all our bikes lined up in front of the office.
We also have a couple more people that come down from the PA area.
We'll be there by Monday afternoon.....we're taking the scenic route up from FL.

...and if you want wine you must carry it in from NC or across the county line up near Maryville.

Well, tonight my friend Bob bought a beautiful 85 that has 14000mi and is all stock. He's coming to rally, so you'll probably see it there. Knowing Bob, you'll probably meet him too :drinks: P.S. look for blue saddle bags n say hey. He's all proud
