It took 26 years but I finally got one! :yahoo:
I'm now the proud owner of a 1992 FJ1200. I've lusted after one of these since I first saw a new 1984 FJ1100 at the local dealer all those years ago.
I didn't know what to expect when I took her out for a test ride but I found myself grinning under my helmet and knew that the wait was worth it.
I look forward to the adventure with my new bike and thank everyone in FJowners.com in advance for their knowledge and support that I may have to call on from time to time.:i_am_so_happy:

LOL...Damn straight Rich
For the new....if you own a FJ and you twist the throttle you already know the kookaloo..... just not that term for it.
Imagine (if you will) my 8 yr old sister balance point wheelying her 1978 YZ80 across my parents front yard in thrid gear...... she was screaming koooooooooooooooooookaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaloooooooooooooooooooooooo and laughing her ass off..... she just made up the word and i sort of adopted it..... i asked her about it and she just said it popped into her head every time that 80 would come up on the pipe and the front wheel would reach for the sky....trust me she busted her ass so many times learning to balance point wheely that peaky ass little 80 that when she mastered it she could ride it like a unicycle over hills across ditches my mom went out and bought her every piece of safety gear known to man...... but i digress as i have lots of stories from those days.
i guess if i really had to define KOokaloo it would be......hmmmmm
Euphoric thrill? ( does such a term exist?)
Just child like joy where nothing else can touch you as you let the power of the machine take you to that rightous place called acceleration :good2:
KOokaloooooooo!

Well, I can't promised that "Kookaloo" will be the first word that pops into my head when I hit that memorial moment but I do get the" Euphoric thrill" and I'm pretty sure that's a word.
Thanks all! :i_am_so_happy:
