Title: Hello FJowners.
Post by: roaddogma on July 26, 2010, 04:31:57 PM
Just dropping in to say hello. My first ride was an FZ600 back in 1986, then an FZR600 and now I have a couple of FZR400s. One for street, and one for track. Here is a picture of the track bike.

Still doing some work to it (exhaust and body) as well as to the street bike. (Front/Rear-end swap/motor swap/ body etc.).

I've always admired the big FJ, but never had the opportunity for firsthand experience, so I thought to pay a visit to some fellow classic Yamaha enthusiasts. No pics of the street ride, but I could post some later if anyone is interested.

Cheers!

The gravity of this forum is now so strong it is drawing in non-FJ's. Hell yes we want pics of the street bike, and more details of the swaps going on. You thinkin' 1200 for the motor swap? Might handle different. Welcome!

Always wanted to do a FZR400 with FZR600 with the YZF600 top end (or YZF engine with FZR crank)!

Welcome!
