Title: Hey Everybody From Georgetown, Ohio
Post by: jeff s on July 22, 2010, 01:41:09 AM
Hey all. I just found this website and was quick to join. About me.. I bought a new fj1100 in 1984 after somebody rear ended me at a stoplight, totaling my 1982 GPZ 1100 (just paid off). I was stationed in Charleston SC at the time. Came back to Ohio and really didn't have any riding buds so I sold the FJ in1986. In 1999 I decided to get back on a bike and got a HD Night Train. Sold it in 2004 and bought a dresser. Then I got to the BIG 50, and started having a second childhood. I found a nice 1999 ZRX to take the place of the GPZ. A few months later I came across an FJ1100 at the Vintage Days at Mid Ohio. It was in really nice shape and I had to have it. I am working on getting all the original stock parts together for it. Besides the bikes, things I love are my girlfriend of 11 years, Karen and my three German Shepherds. Oh yeah also our sixty , yes sixty, pound Beagle, Ralphie. I hope to attend some of the events that are posted here. Thanks for checking out my intro.

Howdy Jeff.  Welcome here.  Quite a variety of bikes you've had.

Take it easy,

Thanks everybody for the warm welcome. It may take me a little while to get used to the message board, but I think I'm gonna enjoy it.
