I just went and bought another 1984 FJ1100. It's as close to a showroom FJ as can be. I cut the vacation a day short and drove out with the wife and rode it back from Colorado to Phoenix. It's a vibrating son of a gun but nothing that can't be addressed. My 91 is just too smooth it kinda spoiled me. Even my other 84 doesn't vibrate as much.

Not sure if the facebook link will work so I might have to try another way

for some reason the img tags aren't working sorry :dash2:
Congrats on your new purchase, she looks like a beauty. I just picked up an 85 that will be in good shape before too long, I hope.

The first and last of anything is the most collectible. Nice! Could we get more pictures?
Another FJ1100 in Phx! woohoo! :good: That makes 4 that I know about. Yours is the cleanest! I'd like to see it to compare bits sometime when the heat goes back down to just boiling. Nice find! :hi:
Thanks all, I've got 2 84's and one 91 alongside my 90 ZX-7 But soon to be back to only 1 84 as I'll be selling my 1st to a Buddy back in Texas. The wife is making me........
We need a Phoenix fall rally! :yahoo:
Awsome 84. Mine, like yours is pretty close to showroom clean and stock (except for the Supertrapp exhaust and custom paint).
A New Years rally may be a better idea..... or Thanksgiving. Gotta be during the cool months.

Yes, but all the good roads are up in the high country where its nice and cool in the fall.........If we stuck to the Valley, then NewYears or Thanksgiving would be good choices.
I'm just thinking a weekend day ride to cool country would work. Can you imagine 4-8 FJ's all in one group heading north? what a sight !!!

Yes...Exactly!
I think there's 4 of us in Phoenix, and a couple in Tucson, and someone down there in Sierra Vista....
We could have a couple nice rides up north.........Some of the loop rides are on the longish side distance wise....if you guys don't mind some seat time (I know myself, and Erich don't mind)
We even have the Curviest road in the US (sorry Dragon) :empathy3:

I signed up as a "maybe" for this ride with a group I ride with occasionally, but most likely I will be going Saturday August 14th.

I'm going to plan on the Aug 14th ride as well. :gamer:
Send me a PM if you want to join me on this ride.......I'll RSVP with guests, unless you want to join MSRP, and RSVP yourself. They usually like to have an accurate head count before the ride day. Sometimes they make advance reservations at any restaurant we stop at along the way...........
already signed up and RSVP'd thanks !!! :yahoo:

Hey! I'm in (sent from Samara, Costa Rica) Great to see another '84 in the hands of a loving owner, congrats!
Looks like the PO already converted the front forks for you...... Need some Simichrome? :good2:
Ooops, sorry, I thought we were talking about a Thanksgiving get together/ride.
Gotta pass on the August ride, I won't be back until late Sept. (if I come back)
After the heat from the summer breaks, a fall ride in Arizona is totally bitchen....Right Gazza?

"If I come back"... You know Pat I would really
love to add a mint 1984 FJ1100 to my collection
Mike
Ok Mike, I'll keep you in mind.
IF I sold my '84 it would be to someone like you who would love and care for her.
This Costa Rica place is really bitchen. A happy, contented people with real smiles, no phony bullshit.
I could easily see me and Jann moving down here....seriously. Too bad the roads are shit. 4x4's a must.
