Title: Hi all
Post by: cmd on July 18, 2010, 08:09:35 AM
Just joined and thought it best to say hello to one and all

I own a rather tired FJ1200 3CV
This is the old girl the day I collected her:

She looks more like this now:

She is going to have a complete strip and rebuild over the coming months, right down to the frame and rebuilt from the ground up, already have most parts: Genesis front wheel, GSXR Rear and the mods to fit, Twin headlight fairing, New seat etc etc

She's going to look very very different with this fitted:

And the colours will be like this:

I know its an FJ1100 but couldn't find a 1200 outline  :nea:
Look forward to reading threads and helping out if I can  :good:
Colin

Welcome to the group Colin,

I 've always been a big fan of the bumblebee paint scheme (maybe cause its on my RZ350?)

but probably more cause King Kenny wore those colors as he dominated the world back in the 70's  :good2:

good to have you around brother,

Kookaloo!

About the same age as me the Frank if you remember the King :drinks:

Yes, that's one reason, but just love that colour scheme  :good2:
Thanks for the welcome, it was a member here that posted a link on the UK FJOwners site that led me to you.
Great site you have here with loads of good info  :good:

Colin,

Nice paint scheme. I've always thought that an FJ would look good in '70's racing colours like this '74 TZ750 I snapped at a bike show.
