Bob,

If you're looking for Engine and Chassis Serial Nos. by year and country, they're on pg.22-23 of the Clymer Yamaha service manual.
If you're looking for No of units produced each year, I don't know.
You might be able to get annual registrations of a specific model year in a single country from their motor vehicle dept, but that could take a while.
OR, you could ask Yamaha.  They might be willing to divulge the info.

Cheers,
Arnie

Thanks Guys for your responses

But what I'm looking for is.

how many per year?

How many to north america and or anywhere else?

I seem to see (and buy) more 86s and 89s than any other years.

Just wondering.
