Sorry guys, had to run up north today.  We built this bike for the Melbourne Bike  Show a few years ago and have never got round to getting it on the road. Having a few problems with start up, thinking it might be related to ignitor box.

What model is that lower chin fairing from? Or is that a one-off you hand made?

How do you like the wrapped headers? I was thinking of wrapping my FJ headers.

Hi Sr, the belly was sourced from an EU accessories supplier but I have no idea which unfortunately.  I have seen others though when searching for one thing or another.  Lagging headers etc is always a pain job to do correctly, you need to have the bandage wet so it can stretch a bit, then when it dries it tightens and stays in place, helped by ti-wire of course.  Use gloves or you'll end with hands full of glass fibres :(

Hi Sparky, that's for the info, do you have any contact details for the bloke up the road? I'd love to borrow an ignitor to see if it fixes our issues.
Cheers Moz

That last schematic had an error in the clutch switch wiring. This copy has been corrected.

Hi guys, just an update on my igniter query.  After a tip from from one of the lads here to join an FJ facebook group, I found help from an FJ owner only an hr up the road, and he's kindly lending me his ignitor for some diagnoses.

Thanks again one & all, & I'll update once I have the issue resolved.
Cheers Moz

That's Good news, it'll be a runner soon  (popcorn)

Think there's a wiring diagram on the site somewhere, should be in the files section
