 Hello everyone I have picked up my first fzr600 back in 2015 for $250 it was not pretty but it was a good starter bike for sure I sold it and bought a 1989 fj1200 3cv in 2018 and have been loving it every since I put after market exhaust on as it didn't come with the mufflers but the rest of the bike was in very good shape I ended up paying $1200 for the bike which I thought was a steel no scratches no broken plastic and started right up no problem  thanks for having this awesome page for these awesome bikes wish I would have found this sooner thank you all ride safe

Drockin89fj,

Welcome to the evening campfire.  Pull up a seat, relax, and be among friends.

If you are new to carburetors, run a can of SeaFoam (or any good carb-cleaning fuel additive) through the bike's gas tank, mixed to the label specs.  SeaFoam is magic stuff, but not instant magic.  Depending on your local gasoline quality, Seafoam on some regular basis can keep your carbs new-metal clean inside.

We prolly have sources for rare parts, and advice for DIY services here.  Ask and ye shall receive.  Best wishes.

G'day and Welcome Drockin89fj

No broken plastics are a bonus and 1200$ is a bargain.

Safe Journeys
