Good day all.
I'm in Ontario Canada and I'm looking for a tank and rear wheel for a 92. My tank is rusted bad inside. It doesn't have to be 92 colours because it'll get painted.
Thank you
Dan

Unfortunately, I'm in the UK, so can't really help, but I have 5 spare FJ rear wheels, left over from YZF 600 R wheel conversions, that I can't even seem to give away.
Have you considered going for a different rear wheel to stock - swapping to a 17" wheel gets you a much wider/better tyre choice.
I have a crap load of old fj wheels too. Down here in wisconsin. From gixxer rear wheel swaps too. My tank on the turbo bike is 100 percent rotted out on the bottom. But the top looks okay . So I was going to make a carbon Kevlar skin. Red Kevlar and black carbon weave from that. And make an aluminum tank that would fit under the skin on the turbo bike. It'll probably have to be smaller. But don't really need a lot of fuel on the turbo bike. It's just going to be for shorter rip it up rides. And probably take it to the dragstrip a couple of times.
For that matter maybe find a plastic tank from something that would fit under the fj tanks skin. The top of the tanks generally don't rust out. Could just use the stock tank skin.

are you willing to sell any of your spare wheels? I have an 86FJ with stock wheels but if switching wheels would give me tire choices I'm interested let me know thank you
Good day everyone.
Thank you for the responses, I have managed to source a rear wheel but I'm still looking for a tank. As far as going 17 in wheels, this isn't the FJ I want so it's getting almost everything stock. Almost everything is painted and going back together.
Thanks
Dan
I may have a tank. It may need some work. I can check when I get home tonight.

That's what I have is a bunch of old stock fj wheels. That got replaced by gsxr rear wheels.
Giantkiller, ok thanks. Do you have info on which year GSXR wheels fit the FJ and what if any modifications are needed?
Well I ordered what the breaker said was either a 750 or 1100 gixxer wheel. And always got a 600 wheel. Which is actually lighter. But it meant I had to come up with my own spacers. And the 600s are one bolt short on the sprocket. So have to get 600 specific sprockets. Not as many choices for tooth count. There's a write up on using gixxer rear wheels on the forum. But I had to do it all on my own due to getting 600 wheels. Make sure you get it complet wheel hub cush, caliper/braket. Everything complete.
