Title: Will a 1986 fj1200 4 into 1 super trap fit a 1990 fj1200?

From my understanding, everything will fit except the muffler which mounts differently but nothing some fabrication won't fix.
Any help?

Yes it will fit, and be worth it...but,
1) you will lose access to your oil drain, problem solved by draining the oil with your bike on it's sidestand by removing the left side oil cooler pan fitting.
2) the mounting tab location on the Supertrapp muffler will be too short for the location of mounting tab on your 1990's side frame. You can fab a plate for a thru bolt that will fit in the triangular section on your side frame that will line up with the Supertrapp muffler mount.

I think of all the aftermarket 4-1 or 4-2 systems I have heard over the years, I love the music from those Supertrapp systems the best....the howl is glorious!

Cheers
