Title: Paddock Stand
Post by: Moraysan on December 03, 2024, 09:02:08 AM
I have a 1984 FJ1100 and I am looking to get a dolly rear paddock stand that I can use to manhandle the bike around a tight workshop. Does anyone know of a make that will work without making modifications to the existing swinging arm etc.

Robert, thanks for the quick reply. That's a little out of my price range, especially as I live in the UK 😃

Renntec is based in the UK. You can buy direct from them. Cost is the same but the shipping would be cheaper.

I am not sure of any others but we have a couple of these here at the shop. The 4 wheel casters make moving the bike around very easy without having to lift and lower the bike.

Yes, my Pit Bull stand is limited in movement. Those casters would be very handy. Robert, do they make a similar design for the front stand? (I didn't see it listed on your site) I can imagine for stability, the front stand would have to be a head lift design.

Robert, I found another 4 castor dolly rear paddock stand but I cannot find a way to contact the company which is the only worrying thing...

No, I do not believe they do.

Moraysan Nice bike you have there i had same bike with same color back in the 80-90thies
I have bought this wheel dolly .im in Norway so maybe they dont sell them in UK
it does not have the suport for the rear swing so you will have to support the bike when moving it sideways.
