Sent you a pm about the fairing, bellypan and scoops. If there is anyone from the middle of the country that is going to California. And could bring them back. I could meet you at your house and pick them up... would be greatly appreciated. I'm not in a hurry to get them. I'm sure that shipping to Wisconsin isn't going to be cheap but. I'm more worried that they will get damaged.

Marc - I'm interested in the tank, rear subframe, tail piece and taillight.  And a generator for good measure!  Assuming all are still available...

Hey Marc, do you still have the FJ with the YZF 1000 Thunderace rear wheel/anrm etc and YZF 750 front end?

That bike was the inspiration that got me modifying mine  :good2:

The engine and carbs reached a point where I would have had to dump a bunch of money into it, so I parted it out.  Klavdy bought the front and rear suspension.  IIRC, he was on a California ride and had an argument with a pine cone and lost.  So another forum member (Frank Burkeen?) bought those same parts off Klavdy and a bunch of leftovers from me.  Not sure if Frank got the Akrapovic XJR1300 pipe or not.  I sure miss the old girl.

I did get the Akrapovic...  then with RPM's help built a 1350cc monster for it, installed Keihen FCR39s, and dyno tuned to ~165Hp at the wheel.  Also upgraded to custom Speedhut dash and some other, smaller changes.  Still loving it many years later...

Frank

PS - There's a build thread on here somewhere for "Wizard"...  that's my baby's name.  Thread was called "Removed her heart" I think.

I'm glad it all went to good homes and Franks bike sounds great.

I remember now we communicated on the AF1 Aprilia owners forum - I figured you might be a British ex-pat from the city of Derby - didn't realise your forum ID was to do with dogs   :sarcastic:

Fairing, Bellypan, and Scoops are being held for GiantKiller.  If I have not heard from him anybody else candeclare dibs.  Next stop is eBay.
