Several years ago I remember Aviation Fred did this mod.. (to Casper?) it looked bitchen, and I have always wanted to do the same.
FYI, for the lucky '91-95 FJ owners, clear lenses are readily available on the German eBay...but not so for the '89/90 nor are they available for the '86/87 ('86/87 are different from the '89/90)...and then along comes George.

George ( gdfj12) made some lenses for his '89 and he happened to have an extra set I snagged.

I think they look great on the white '89s

Use the combo LED white running light with amber turn (yep, gotta add resistors)

The amber turn lights with the LED bulbs are especially bright about twice the brightness over the stock bulb.

They make LED bulbs that switch from white to orange, when used as turn signal bulbs.
The bulbs are always on; they just change color whenever the turn signal is used
These are called "switchback" LED bulbs.
I was wondering if this type is what you have used there, and if so, do you have the Part Numbers?
Yours seem to be brighter than what I have found on the market.

That is Awesome Pat.

I have also contacted George about a set of Clear lenses for Casper.

I have used the Switchback bulbs on the 95 FJ1200 for years.
