Title: No gas cap, any alternatives?
Post by: Fj1100 Rebuild project on August 25, 2023, 09:26:54 AM
I bought my fj1100 with no gas cap and didn't realize it would be this hard to find one, anyone know of a alternative of some generic cap that will work at least temporarily? I've pretty much given up on trying to find one used

The 1100 caps are different than the 1200 caps so none of those will work for the 1100 tank.

I think that cap was used on other Yamaha models, possibly a Seca. Finding a used cap is more likely your success.
