Title: Another on/reserve switch question
Post by: joebloggs on August 22, 2023, 03:26:36 AM
I want to delete my reserve switch but I'd also like the use of the full tank, so.

Do I just bridge the wires at the switch connector?

Leave them open?

Remove the fuel level sender and bend the float so it never triggers pump off?

None of the above?

89 1200 CV.

Thanks

Ohm out the switch and duplicate its function in the reserve position.

It's a switch. It will either be 0 or infinite ohms in the reserve position. If it reads zero, use a jumper wire. If it reads infinite, just remove the switch.
