Title: Fj1200 clutch slave cylinder on a fj1100?
Post by: Fj1100 Rebuild project on August 17, 2023, 12:37:42 AM
I am missing my clutch slave cylinder and I found one on eBay for a fj1200... it looks pretty much the exact same but is it a direct bolt on for my 1100?

Clutch slaves are the same for all FJ11/12 years. Even the XJR uses the same slave.

Buy a new slave from RPM..... http://rpmracingca.com/proddetail.asp?prod=Clutch%3A5EA-16381-00%3A36y-16381-00 (http://rpmracingca.com/proddetail.asp?prod=Clutch%3A5EA-16381-00%3A36y-16381-00)
You are rolling the dice buying a used slave. The aluminum bores in the slave body gets pitted and thus unusable (unless sleeved)

Don't forget your slave mounting bolts, you need 2 of the long bolts:

And one of these short bolts:
