Hi, well I got the bike. Added gas, & brand new battery it won't start. But what is this thats disconnected? Plugged it together. Still won't fire up. It cranks. But that's it. I did hear the fuel pump come on for 2 seconds. Sadly I put 5 gallons in. Now I have to take the tank off. To access the carbs.
I got a response its a fuel float level. So it needs to be connected. In case anyone ever needs this information. Now its here.
Russ, you need to confirm if you have spark, if you do then it will be carb related.
No biggie putting fuel in the tank. Use a 8mm to close the petcock and you won't lose any. Or turn the tank around and use the mounting hardware to Hold it on the bike so you can access the engine for diagnosis.
