How did you do it?
Still haven't gotten back to my turbo bike. Paperwork for the nos turbo kit built back in 89. Said it was set up to make 200hp. But a friend who works on turbo sleds. Said with some of the equipment he could add for tuning and monitoring. Should be able to get it to 230hp pretty easy. Should be able to get pasr 200 pretty quickly.
Other than the added weight of the turbo. Bike will be significantly lighter than stock. Shorai battery gixxer front end r1 swingarm wheels shortened tail section. Cut passenger pegs off side plates. Digital dash. My fj1350r. Comes in at just over 500lbs. And more will be cut off the turbo. Hell even the seat pan had alot cut out. Planning on carbon/kevlar shell over a smaller aluminum gas tank.
Should be fun. Have a couple of big block billet cylinders and machined case's. If the turbo on stock motor gets boring. 1480 turbo stuffed into a lightened bike. Kookaloo...
Won't be able to tell it's turbo'd from the right side. Where the side Panel is taped off. There is going to be a black screen bent to the original shape of the side panel. For the air filter. For the single carb that feeds the turbo. Going to paint it a slightly bluer version of the midnight blue. With stock graphics in red. Already have the graphics.
