It's on again fellas and fillies.
Friday 16th to Sunday 18th September. Friday 16th to Sunday 18th September. Friday 16th to Sunday 18th September. Friday 16th to Sunday 18th September. Friday 16th to Sunday 18th September. Friday 16th to Sunday 18th September.
The shed room is up for grabs. The guest room is already spoken for. I'm going to try and liberate one of the kids rooms for an extra bed. Library, family room and TV room are available, otherwise in the shed or in the swags.
Assuming the weather is going to be wet, I'll set up the marquee again.
Fuck the pandemic let's get together. Vaxed and unvaxed can mingle and share life.
Harleys welcome as I'd like to have a bonfire and all that chrome and matt-black paint burns a beautiful green and blue. As it's damp we won't notice the tyre smoke and they burn for ages. Given most of them will arrive with a maintenance ute getting home should be no problem.
We also have a fire pit to stoke up, so cyclists and their bikes are welcome as well. Both will provide plenty of laughs as they sizzle and pop. It's even better at night as their LED's continue to flash in the ashes. We can all watch the shenanigans again when we recover the cycle safety cams and watch it on the big screen (I've been told they're impact, weather and heat resistant).
Jokes aside, any suggestions for dyno, swapmeet, ride, etc. on Saturday? The roads are shit (well, more shit than normal) and won't be any better by then, plus Kangaroo Valley is still closed on the north side from the floods and landslides, and won't open before October.
There will be an obligatory maintenance moment on Saturday (even air pressure checks qualify :sarcastic:) before beers, and during beers, there is no 'after beers'.
Arrive any time Friday or Saturday, with Sunday after lunch the leaving time.
Troyskie.
Tell the chooks I'm coming Troy. I hope they have forgiven me for not being there last year.
Regards, Pete. :drinks: :good2:
I hope to be there Troy :drinks: book me a TV room
And don't worry about the chooks Pete, I've missed the last 2 I think and a rally.
:drinks:
Bewdy Al! Booked and reserved.
Alf has booked a room, so either the shed or son's room are gone.
Hi Troy
It's been a while.
Weather permitting, I will be riding a three day adventure ride on my T700, from Batemans Bay to Bermi and return on that very weekend.
Should the ride be postponed due weather, then I will certainly attend the shed day.
I shall bring my Hammock Tent, so a couple of poles or trees about 5mtrs apart would be perfect.
This will be only my third ride on dirt.
Let's see what eventuates.
Gavin
Excellent Gav.
I'll plant those trees right now. With all the water around here they'll be huge in no time :)
Enjoy the dirt buddy! I'll have the hose ready.
Troyskie
Ist he boring out the head obligatory ? and does it giwe andy increased performance?
He he he, yes mate, boring out the head would make a difference to the performance of that blue hoodie reprobate, given he probably started with the intellectual performance of a cricket :sarcastic:.
Thank you Troy for another great Nowra FJ shed weekend. Pass on my thanks to Nicole also for the great food on Friday night.
Thanks also to the others that made the effort to attend. It was great to catch up with you all.
I didn't take any photos of the weekend (not sure why) but Phil took some good ones. (feel free to post them Phil)
Our Bermagui weekend will be on again in December, will post up details soon.
Regards, Pete. :good2: :drinks:
