He let me know there were a couple of gunfighter seats on fleabay.
I ended up buying the one with the rip in the side. I finally got to it on the "to do" list.
With the stock seat and my custom corbin gunfighter. The stripe is red..not sure why it showed up orange in the picture.
Looks good.

Looking good!
tks. I'm very happy with it. Haven't got any seat time on it yet though. lol
I had mine reupholstered and really like it a lot.
Plus, it keeps passengers away.
The top seat is the factory optional Corbin. Still has the tag, albeit worn.

very nice fj. looks great.
Very saucy. Had one recovered and the guy did a great job. Cost a bit though. Then someone on the forum had one for sale which I ended up buying as well. Its got some really fancy stiching.
They are great seats whichever way you slice it.
I have a corbin on a 84 Ninja and it is hard as F!#@. I will admit I have not sat in that saddle very much to find out how good or if any good having a
saddle that hard. On the track or riding like giantkiller or the monkey they should be super.

That was exactly what I first thought when I sat on my first FJ Corbin.... Holy crap, this seat feels hard as a board....a nicely sculpted board, but hard as hell.
I was only after the first hour of riding when I realized how much better the Corbin performed.
I had my oem FJ seat covered with a sheepskin pad and the Corbin was still better.
funny corbin story.
My wife belongs to a couple of rykers facebook forums. One in particular is for women only and the woman who started it does a lot of good informative video's.
She said when her group broke 10K members she was going to have a raffle with prizes donated by the aftermarket.
So this night I'm in the recliner watching tv and the boss is on her tablet with her headphones on.
Next thing I know she hollers out OMG!!
Then she starts hollering I won..I won!!!
Turns out you had to be online watching the video of the raffle draw and the first name she drew wasn't...my wife's name was drawn next and she got to pick what prize she wanted.
She picked the corbin seat.
I was a bit skeptical about it but a few days later someone from corbin called her, asked a few questions regarding her height, etc.
A few weeks later it arrived and according to corbin you need to put a thousand miles on their seat before it's broken in.
I like the fact it comes up behind your butt..it will help keep me in front of the back fender. lol
