Title: FJ street
Post by: giantkiller on July 19, 2021, 05:00:23 PM
Was heading up north to ride some trails with my 700 Raptor. And look what I found. Not a very good picture but.

very cool. I found it on Google Maps Crivitz, WI. I would like to have that sign in my garage over my FJ. Not a great street for the FJ name but still cool.

Very small town crivitz. I was thinking the same thing about the sign. There were quite a few signs. Lol.
Was thinking that we should at least get a  bunch of us together. Under the sign. Like Brian said.

Why is it named FJ street is what I would like to know? Hey Giantkiller, I know those raptors have some grunt and I believe yours has been modded but would a Yamaha Banshee bone stock not leave that raptor in the weeds? Just curious, still not a big fan of 4 wheelers and now its even worse on the trails from these menacing side by sides that are wider and larger. Talk about human excess. Now some of these people/clowns drive them down the F#@# highway where they should not be. It grinds my gears.

No. the banshee is fun. I had a  modded banshee. I can go way faster trail riding. With my  Raptor. A banshee is alot of fun.  Like I said but they just don't hook up. Like a  4stroke. Even faster was my  450. With cam mod intake and lightened flywheel. That thing was untouchable. But I had to stop riding it. It was tearing me up.
My buddy waz Mr banshee.  Until he  rode my modded Raptor 700. He bought one right away. He still has 2 banshees. Never rides them.

Your a wild man Giantkiller, okay, if the Banshee was able to hook and grab traction would it not pull the raptor in a straight line? I was dating this gal recently and it was her son who said his Banshee would pass a raptor on its rear wheels thats why I was curious. Banshee's in good shape are getting very valuable from what I see up here.

Oh yes. Straight line drag racing. Heck yah a modded 2 stroke Yee Haww!. Hell they street drag them. Ice drags. And dunes unbeatable. But  those are only fun for a while. Trail riding is fun for days. Something different around every corner. And there are thousands and thousands of miles of trails. All over the US. I've been trail riding in 9 states so far.  Last I looked Wisconsin had 2800 miles of trails. I've ridden most of them. I've been through 9 atvs. Wore most of them out before moving on to the next. Like I said banshees are fun. But definitely not the fastest on trails.  Especially tight trails.

I love roosting it up around a corner. And wheelying out of it on the outside wheel. And commg around into the straight off of the outside rear wheel. (Kinda like wheelying out of a roundy round. While you're still learning into the corner!) A lot of the time a banshee won't hook up and will just spin out on you. You either have to get out of it then down shift or you'll bogg it down. By then the  Raptor or 450 has just hooked up and is halfway to the next corner.
