Hi everyone
I am a newbie to forum sites but not to motorcycling, Been riding 30 odd years now and of that time i have only owned two bikes, a Kawasaki GT750 and FJ1200 3CV, learner bikes don`t count. My present bike which i have had for some years now is 3CV 1988 model.
I live on the east side of Kent in England and plan to go touring around Scotland as soon as the politician tell us we are allowed out to play.
Be safe Ride safe.
Welcome to the forum DK, from another UK member.
We're effectively allowed out to play now, it's just awkward getting suitable accommodation (we just got a motorhome so we don't have to rely on Hotels/B & B's), so touring on the bike is possible, but a bit of a pain at the minute. We spent a few days down in Kent last week (Maypole and Deal) visiting family, nice countryside, but a lot of traffic, which we couldn't dodge in the motorhome, unlike on the bikes.
Hope you get to head up to Scotland soon - watch the weather forecasts though......we've been caught out by heading up there and spending the best part of a week riding in pouring rain and fog, during the height of summer :sarcastic: :sarcastic:
Just thinking about that trip has made me realise I've never posted about it anywhere........might just do so - a trip so bad we cut it short and headed from Pitlochry directly to Plymouth (with a stop off at home for fresh dry clothes), 634 miles, and jumped on the ferry to Santander (Spain) in the hopes of finding some nice riding weather !!!
Welcome DK, happy you found our digital campfire.
Welcome to the forum :hi:

Just a question....Why do you only ride in the odd years? The even years have been great too...well, all except for 2020.
PS, welcome
