Title: Anybody have a recommendation for a Service Manual either physical or online?
Post by: Loukiii on June 14, 2021, 08:02:12 AM
I am thinking I will replace the pull and push throttle cables on my FJ1200 since the pull cable snapped. Might as well do them both. I'm sure I can figure it out on my own :wacko3: but past experience tells me I would be better off with a shop manual. lol

Loukiii,

Please let us know what you find.  Most eBay offerings will show the factory (printed paper) book in their ad, but all you will get is a pirated, scanned copy on CD, worth a few dollars at most.  "Scanned" means that you cannot Search for every mention of a word, such as Caliper, on the CD.

FWIW, if you go it alone, most MC shops can duplicate any cable you have, often for a reasonable price.

The cables are easy enough to find on Amazon for about $25 each. I will probably look for a youtube video. lol

You have 4 cables on your FJ....RPM has a full selection of what you need.
If you order from RPM you will get the correct cable....FleaBay, not so sure....
