Title: QUICK QUESTION
Post by: chiz on April 25, 2021, 07:23:47 PM
I gave up a year or two ago on trying to find out why my bike felt like it had warped discs. I think I discovered why last year, the front wheel bearing housing is shot. I believe the wheel is from am 89 or 90 1200. Is there another 17" wheel from another bike that will bolt on quick fast. Don't think I will find another 1200 wheel.
Thanks Chiz

Chiz,

If you can give me a few days I could send you a 93 front wheel. Would be from an ABS bike, but it would slip in there no issues. I have the wheel, r/s spacer (unique to the wheel) and good rotors. Yours for the princely sum of $0! You just cover the shipping fro Maine.

Here is one from the US. I don't know if it would be delivered in your time frame.

Even better is this FZR1000 wheel. You use the FJ rotors, bearings, spacers and speedo drive.

Thanks for offer and advice I had not realized that ABS would fit, the postage here to Niagara Can would be mind blowing. If I could get across the border to the mail box then I would certainly take you up on the offer. Maybe I can start hunting the local wreckers for an FZR wheel.
Thanks

ABS wheel will fit, but the brake rotors have a different hub diameter.  You'd need the rotors also
