I just puchased an 89 FJ 12 from the original owner in Boulder with 14K miles. It sold new at Boulder Yamaha, which is the same dealer where I puchased an 85 FJ 11, and an 86 FJ 12 brand new back in the 80's. Since then I have tried a 90 ZX 11 and a 03 Hayabusa. I have come back to an FJ, exactly where I was over 20 years ago, and it feels great. This bike is all stock except for the F1s pipes. Obviously, I have been out of the FJ scene for a while, and I am grateful in advance for this site and it's members. Enjoy the season!

				Hey Welcome back Doug!
We hear that a lot, folks who had FJ's in the '80's who wish they never sold them.
At least you know what you're getting into..
Be sure to visit our Mods section.  Add a 17" rear rim, 180/55 modern rubber, R-1 brakes, fork springs and emulators, and a Penske shock, you will be running with the big dogs.
FJ's are a great value for the money spent on them...
Cheers!   Pat

				 Welcome Doug!
Could we call you Andy instead? There's already a Doug here, wouldn't want any confusion. Congrats on getting back to where you were, sometimes a little perspective helps you realize what you had was pretty damn good.
