Still looking for a luggage rack?
Good luck finding a used one in decent shape.
I ended up buying a new one
https://www.ebay.com/itm/174419986634 (https://www.ebay.com/itm/174419986634)
It was expensive by the time I had it painted, decals applied and insulation applied.
Never attempt to use the lower cowl without heat shielding, you will be sorry.

Pat, I will also be in search of a belly pan and decal set for my 86 FJ. Any reason you chose the one from the UK as opposed to the one from Germany? Also, any recommendation on where to get the decal sets? And, if that's not enough, any chance you have modern paint equivalents to the Stormy Red and Silky White? Thanks.
Check with Robert or Randy at RPM. Last I saw they 2 fiberglass ones up on a shelf. Looks like the Ebay one. It will need the holes drilled, paint, decals, and heat shield as well.

I think the ones that come from the FJ Owners Club in the UK have extra reinforcement around the lower mounting points to help prevent the cracking that happens to a lot of the original ones.

Thanks guys for the info on paint and decals. I think this will be my winter project this year as the FJ has some body and paint defects that I would like to address.
