Title: Happy Easter
Post by: aviationfred on April 04, 2021, 03:56:14 PM
Wishing everyone a Happy Easter.

Went for a short 120 mile ride on Casper with Dale (Shaarth) and his Big Vmax.

I recently got a new helmet that matches Casper perfectly.

Happy Easter all!  We had the bikes out today and yesterday.  The weather was finally nice in Northern Illinois.

Went for a ride Easter Saturday to Jerry's cafe, Kulnura. It's about 150klm round trip and I rode my GL1500 as I have the front end of the FJ1200 apart to replace forks seals and fit R1 blue spot calipers.
Spotted this odd Honda? there.

Yes Andy........it seems I'm an easy win for the charity folks.

I do like being out meeting people, even behind a mask and I have great fun talking to the kids and their parents - I even had a 15 year old (who told his dad he wouldn't come and watch as it was too childish), actually run to catch us up after we'd passed his house and tell us the Easter Bunny was "so sick"...... apparently that's a compliment.

Millietant,
congratulations on successfully de-coding 'youth speak'.
Having worked in American schools, it's become plain that the campaign for real English has few supporters left. Just Prince Charlie and I then.
Anyhow, that young whippersnapper sounds just the kind of person I'm looking for to join my new international exchange program.
It's called 'youth in Asia.'

There's a few local youths I'd happily send to Asia for a while. My eldest son taught at a school in Buriram (yes, home of the Thai MotoGP race) for a couple of years and was SO impressed by the discipline and good behaviour of the pupils  :good2:........and by how much better their English grammar was than most British schoolchildren  :sarcastic:
