Picked up this 89 FJ this fall for a price I couldn't pass up and have been tinkering with it all winter. After replacing all fluids and brakes, rebuilding clutch slave and carbon-shakers and other mechanical items that needed attention, I decided to personalize the body by turning the theft deterrent white/silver into something worthy of stealing. Wait, that doesn't sound right, sorry Fred. I like Yamaha strobes or speedblocks or whatever you call them so went with that effect. Best part is the 1/4" pinstriping only cost $8 and is easy to remove if I get sick of it or want to change it.

Yellow bike was feeling left out.

It looks good. Not too flashy. I like how you moved the mirrors and blinkers to the fairing on your 1100.
Looks great. I really like the speed blocks & the pinstriping brings it together well. Very clean '89 !
Creative use of pin striping tape - well done! Looks factory :good2:
