Title: fj 1200 chop
Post by: izzie on May 10, 2010, 03:08:34 PM
Hi has anyone modified their fj into a chopper? As this is one thought for a better riding position for my bad leg.
Many thanks :bye:

:flag_of_truce:       10-4 to that.  I can appreciate most bikes, this one included.  (minus the paint job)  How long has motherf&%#er been makin' choppers anyway???

This bike was built by a friend of mine, but sadly the bike was chopped up for parts to make another chopper! :wacko2:
If your interested i'll try to find the link for his build,so you can see how it went together. Ive actually got the weber 45 carb and intake manifold in a box under my bed!!!
The bike at one point had a mini (car)eaton supercharger in place, but a change of plan stopped that build. I actually bought the supercharger from my friend, and then we did a swop around, were i took his front end from a R1 and a R1 wheel, which leads me to why im here today! Im gonna put a post of my mods on here!!

cool.

Seems well put together.  Did you re-shape the tank, or buy another and replaced the stock one for that look?

I actually bought it already chopped and bobbed but the tank is a cut down stock tank.
