Title: praise for fiamm horns
Post by: mst3kguy on May 06, 2010, 07:32:48 AM
one of my fiamm horns stopped working on my fjr (i have the hi- and lo-tone freeway blasters).  i bought a new one and put it on.  only then did i see on the packaging "limited lifetime warranty".  i went to their website and advised of my non-working horn, and asked about their limited warranty.  within a couple days someone replied back asking if it was the hi or low, and my mailing address.  i asked if they wanted me to send in my non-working unit, they said nope.  now i just need to figure out what i'm going to do with it.  ( :

Slight update/edit...
I mounted a Penske Sport shock on the FJ a few years ago...they sent the wrong lower mount (clevis vs. eye). Max at Traxxion sent the correct mount and didn't want the old one back. Excellent service.

Man, didn't realize that.  I have FIAMMS on both the FJ and the FJR.  One on the FJ stopped working a while back.  I drilled out the rivets and found corrosion on the metal diaphragm.  Cleaned it up, riveted it back together and its been working fine ever since.
